Description

In Tails 1.4, to avtive Chinese input methord (Ctrl+Space) in unsecure browser is failed, which work well before Tails 1.4(Tails 1.3, etc). And this still can’t work in 1.4.1.
The input methord is important because it is the only way to input Chinese letter.
To active the input methord just press Ctrl and Space at the same time.
In TOR browser haven’t test yet, because I can’t use TOR here.
In gedit the Chinese input methord can be active as before.

May you please try to reproduce this, both in Tor Browser and in Unsafe Browser?

I reproduced that issue in Tails 1.5 with the Unsafe Browser, but ctrl+space works in the Tor Browser.

The root cause is probably the same as for Bug #7502: chrooted browsers can’t speak to the GNOME session’s D-Bus daemon, so they can’t use ibus.
