Description

In order to avoid evil Wi-Fi interaction if no Wi-Fi is needed during a session and when there’s no ability of hardware disabling, we could have an option in Tails Greeter for disabling Wi-Fi.

June 2014 meeting: Let’s try to group related options under a single user-visible toggle one. So, let’s focus on “offline mode” (Feature #6811) to start with (the proposed implementation blocks loading of all network device drivers, including Wi-Fi ones), and see if it covers enough usecases.
