Bug #17210
Tails 4: Dragging a file from Nautilus to Gnome desktop no longer works
Description
When demoing SecureDrop, one step of the process caught us by surprise: It is no longer possible to drag files from a mounted USB drive in Nautilus to the desktop. This is arbitrarily dissimilar from every other OS journalists use, and it would be ideal to bring that functionality back.

Do you use this feature to drag normal files or scripts or .Desktop files?
I’m asking because many people complained about changes to scripts and .Desktop files, including on the desktop. See Bug #17207 and Bug #17195.

In this case, normal files meant for decompression/decryption and analysis, not anything designed to be shortcuts or anything.
