Interestingly, the OSK is displayed when logged in in Spanish. But I can’t input accented vowels. ñ does work fine.

Screen Keyboard is displayed in French in the last Buster ISO

Some accented characted indeed don’t work, but that’s another issue.

IIRC the state of things in Tails 3.x is that one can input chars that are part of the currently configured physical keyboard layout (so e.g. “é” should work when logged in in French) but not other chars, even if they are offered by the on-screen keyboard. That’s tracked upstream.

Could you please check if that’s a regression, and if it is, file a dedicated issue about this?
