linux 4.15.17-1 made it into sid: https://tracker.debian.org/news/950579/accepted-linux-41517-1-all-source-into-unstable-unstable/. It brings lots of bugfixes but security-wise, the only relevant fixes are about the ext4 issues, and even with those it’s deemed unsafe to feed the ext4 driver with attacker-controlled filesystems so it’s not high priority IMO.

It’s likely that 4.16 makes it into sid soon but that’s a much more involved upgrade and I won’t be able to work on it in time for Tails 3.7 after the end of this week.

So let’s skip this one and focus on Bug #15436 instead.
