Q1 is over. I’ll let you folks decide (e.g. as part of your quarterly self-evaluation) whether you want to keep trying to use this workflow in the future. One way I’ve seen other teams make the overhead lighter is to extend the time scope of their blocker ticket, e.g. this one could cover Q2 too.
