During the Tails Summit 2015, discussion the Tails Roadmap, the had the baby step idea : have a “phase 0.5” of the Greeter revamp with just changing the language position to have it on the top.

We said this was on the roadmap for 2016 only, so I think it doesn’t deserve the “Elevated” priority.

What about setting up a target version for the beginning of 2016 (1.9 or 1.10)? It seems like you’re pretty busy right now…

I hope we can release the 1st phase of the greeter revamp (Feature #8230) around this time, so let’s coordinate not to duplicate work!
