Feature #9235
Evaluate using httpredir.debian.org

Description
Now that we’re using torsocks for APT, it might be that httpredir.debian.org will work for us where cdn.debian.net and older flavours of it didn’t. We should test this both inside the ISO, and for the build system.

Done. I’ve seen hashsum mismatches again, quite a few “502 Connection closed”, and didn’t manage to build an ISO. So it seems that it’s not suitable for us, just like cdn.debian.net wasn’t.

Feature #8198: Replace tor+http shim with apt-transport-tor added
#3 Updated by intrigeri 2015-08-26 03:54:50
I’ve retried with various combinations of httpredir in APT sources, httpredir in /etc/apt-cacher-ng/backends_debian
, current Tails/Wheezy’s tor+http ship, Tails/Jessie with apt-transport-tor, and could not get anything reliable enough. I suspect that my torified DNS is what breaks it.
