On the translation documentation, describe and link to the core po files out of which 25% need to be translated so that a language is considered as an available choice for the website tails.boum.org

It’s linked from contribute/how/translate/team/new — isn’t that enough?

I think it’s also relevant for teams that are not new: it’s good to have core pages 100% translated before attacking the rest, and maintaining those before the others. So either in contribute/how/translate, or in each team’s page.

I think it would be good to add it to contribute/how/translate, under “Translate this website”.
And maybe add something saying that at least 25% od the core files need to be translated for a language to be accessible.

Agreed.

I think this is mostly relevant for new teams… except when we’re disabling a language because it has felt behind. So I’m unsure. I’ll let you and BitingBird judge.

Then this sentence should only go to the new language page i guess.

I’ll add a sentence saying that the core pages should be translated first, I think the precise % will stay in new :)
