We did all we could do on this issue and will release an advisory before 1.4. There’s not much else we can do for the time being, so I’m removing this from 1.4 as it won’t be solved by then. Deassigning it from me either.

This bug was fixed by Claws-Mail. Is there a way to integrate it with 3.8.1 or would Tails need to upgrade its version of Claws-Mail in order to merge the fix? http://www.thewildbeast.co.uk/claws-mail/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2965

We’d rather work on switching to Icedove -> downgrading priority accordingly.

This has been documented how to change the behaviour and we will not ship Claws anymore soon. Closing.
