Description

The current CD/DVD label design does not accurately reflect the branding used throughout the rest of the website and/or promotional materials. This would need to be updated to reflect such branding.

Having new ones is not high-priority, but it would be nice.

prolly pointless to even state “CD” here. Since Tails can be only installed on DVDs.
Or is this material aimed even for other promotional uses?

Idea of new labels.

Sizing and everything should be correct.

Only vector files used.
Easy to change anything.

Don’t really care if it will be used.

versions included:

Classic (300 dpi)
Inverted (300 dpi)

note from author of label sketches:
Feel free to dive into it, change the release subtitle font type to correspond with the visual identity of Tails. Do anything you want. I do not own Tails logo and therefore this work is considered only as a helping reference for the team behind it.

I think it’s better to create labels without release version. Then you can create new ones for each release if you want :)

No problem,
just one click and the release version is gone.

It was just my idea so that you have more versions
to decide on.

Somebody should remove the version in the SVG and then update https://tails.boum.org/contribute/how/promote/material/cd_label.pdf.gz

@KingdomKeeper: can you prepare the images or should somebody else do that?

Unassigning, no news since 7 months. It’s fairly easy to make this happen, so I’ll leave the ticket open for a long boring winter evening if anybody is interested.
