Description

The current Florence keyboard is not really adapted to handheld devices.

We could try to configure or adapt it to be more compact and easier to manipulate on small screens.

May you please be more specific?

I imagine that it appears too small on small screen with good
resolution (1024 wide) and is hard to manipulate with fingers on a
touchscreen

I already asked for clarification, see

We don’t ship Florence anymore (Feature #8281) and GNOME’s on-screen keyboard works fine on handheld devices in my experience.
