Description

When trying to configure a new account with Torbirdy 0.1.3-1 and Icedove 31.2.0-1~deb I get the following message:

« TorBirdy has disabled Thunderbird’s auto-configuration wizard to protect your anonymity.

The recommended security settings for sajolida@pimienta.org have been set.

You can now configure the other account settings manually. »

We worked quite a lot on having a better autoconfiguration in terms of security so we should probably get rid of this message and interact with Torbirdy to know if our improvements are good enough for them.

I think we’ve got the Tails-specific bits to fix this upstream back in 0.1.0, released 11 Feb 2013: if vendor.name == Tails, then the autoconfig wizard is not disabled. We’ve been setting this pref in our feature/icedove branch since commit 18e74f4b. Doesn’t this work anymore?

Yes, that works still but I didn’t know about it. Sorry for the noise.
