Description

As discussed on Bug #8077, assuming a user is running 1.1, and since then 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 were released:

  • if incremental upgrades are possible, then they should be proposed to upgrade to 1.1.1; and, after rebooting, to 1.1.2
  • else (e.g. running from DVD), they should be pointed to the full upgrade process.

I think that Bug #11857 fixed this use case.
