We want to revert commit 63ed6bb if the TBB starts showing the menu bar by default again, which seems likely: https://lists.torproject.org/pipermail/tor-qa/2014-October/000478.html

Now that Tor Browser 4.0 was released with the default UI, it seems less likely to me that they’ll show the menu bar again. I’ve just asked GeKo, who answered “there are no plans yet”. So maybe we should stop considering our workaround as something temporary, and clean it up so that we can be comfortable living with it.
