Description

As explained in Bug #7695, when running in a VM with a bridged network adapter, the notion of MAC spoofing doesn’t make much sense and doesn’t work. It would be great to detect that kind of setup and do something smart in Tails Greeter upfront.

The first step is to check whether it is possible to know from inside the VM that it is using a bridged adapter.

I’m not sure this is still relevant. I don’t run Tails from Virtualbox, but from virt-manager and Mac Spoofing + Bridges seem to work just fine.
