Description

It has been almost impossible to connect to OFTC using Tor for weeks (months).

But our official IRC channel is still there (preconfigured in Piding, announced on the website).

  • What is really the current situation?
  • Can we fix it?
  • Do we want to move somewhere else?
  • Where else?

  • Status changed from Confirmed to Resolved

During September 2014 online meeting we decide to research other possibilities of hosting that would be stable.

We see Indymedia and OFTC as unstable services. We need something more stable to have preconfigured in Tails. We lack of time and resources to run our own IRC server.
