Description

It should be interesting to evaluate the impact and the interest of mounting the Persistence directory synchronizedly.

Mounting it that way would allow to flush the data as soon as possible, allowing the user to use the emergency shutdown without taking the risk of loosing her data. However it would have an impact on performances and/or energy consumption.

Thus it would be interesting to test it. Using a reproductible test suite (shell script, benchmark tool like bonnie or whatever, and something like blockdev —setroto put the key in RO) and evaluate:

- If it allow to use the emergency shutdown process without loosing data.

- The performance impact.
- The energy consuption impact.
