Description

To avoid using problematic USB sticks, and provide input for best available USB stick, it’d nice to know which USB is the best to use Tails with.

Some goals of this research include:

  • Finding a USB disk where the internal firmware cannot be reflashed
  • Finding a fast USB disk where Tails works well
  • Finding an easily available USB disk

No update since this ticket was created 5 years ago. Since then I think that problematic USB sticks almost disappeared so I’m rejecting this ticket. Feel free to reopen this ticket if you want to work on this.
