Hi,
Tails is interesting project but I find 2 important things to add:
1) do NOT run Tor proxy default after boot. It should be not default action. Some window asking eg: run Tor, run IP2, nothing to run.
2) add Opera (last versions 12.x or imho best 11.64, NOT new “chrome” versions) next to other browsers - Opera is on Presto, it is only one engine from outside USA, so this engine is NOT suspicious to be eg. backdoored.

1) Why? Most people need network, so that would bother everybody, each time. Doesn’t provide any gain of security, performance, accessibility… what’s your point?
2) If you want additional software, the persistence allows you to have your favorite ones installed: https://tails.boum.org/doc/first_steps/persistence/index.en.html

Hi FeedbackUser, and thanks for your proposals.
1. We are already considering proposing an offline mode, see https://labs.riseup.net/code/issues/6811.
2. Until now, Firefox, used by the Tor browser is the only browser which is safe to use with Tor. The people from the Tor browser team worked very hard to make it sure it is safe to use, and that is not true for any other browser, like Opera. So including Opera is not a possibility.
And in the future, please create separate tickets for each proposal and give them a title that is as informative as possible.
