Description

(for TAILS Build information: 0.22 - 20131209)

When attempting to edit the torrc from GUI for a hidden service the following errors occur:

1. Unacceptable option value. Failed to rendevous options.

2. HiddenServicePort with no preceding HiddenService directive.

The only way found to avoid these errors was to gksudo gedit torrc, but that caused the following error when reconnecting to the network:

3. /var/run/tor is not owned by this user (Vidalia, 117) but by debian-tor (104). Perhaps you are running Tor as the wrong user?
