Description

The symptoms to reproduce are described in the parent ticket.

The goal is to check if latest GNOME exposes this bug too, so one should test this on Debian unstable, or Fedora Rawhide, or whatever is close to the latest upstream stuff.

On both current Debian unstable (mix of GNOME 3.8 and 3.10) and Fedora Rawhide, this behaviour can’t be reproduced, and xset -q reads
@ Standby: 0    Suspend: 0    Off: 0@, so apparenly it was fixed between GNOME 3.4 (Wheezy) and 3.8 or 3.10.
