Description

Does liveusb-creator work fine with both shipped kernels on Wheezy? does it work fine without our patched dbus-python package too?

See discussion about DBUS and multithreading (http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.freedesktop.dbus/14859).

Our patch was confirmed to work on various 32-bit single core and 64-bit multi-core
hardware and VM.

On current sid, liveusb-creator segfault just like in the good old days. Applying the patch we’re shipping in feature/wheezy against the dbus-python source package solves it. So likely this patch should be forwarded upstream at some point…

Tails Installer works fine at least with the 686-pae kernel on Tails/Wheezy. The dbus-python package is patched.

Works fine for me with the amd64 kernel. Next step: test with the 486 kernel.
