Use a less aggressive Florence theme? Seems like none is shipped by default, so perhaps we don’t want to spend too much time on this.

The “hard” theme in 0.6 is good enough for my taste. Going to enable this one. Well, no: see Feature #6363.

“hard” layout set in commit afe1bff, but still blocked by Feature #6379.
