Description
Squeeze’s Pidgin lacks SASL support for IRC.
This was implemented in 2.10.7. It’s a pain to backport for Squeeze, so we’ll have it once Tails is based on Wheezy.
Let’s test this is indeed fixed in Tails based on Wheezy.

Works fine: I’ve added an IRC account for h7gf2ha3hefoj5ls.onion (irc.indymedia.org HS), configured an existing username and password, enabled SASL authentication and plaintext SASL auth, and I was promptly connected to this server that requires SASL authentication for Tor users.

Hmm, I’m confused. We mark as resolved the 1.1 tickets that have been solved in feature/wheezy, else the roadmap view is useless to track progress.
