I doubt we’ll work on this before our March sprint. We might have time to start brainstorming a bit during our December sprint, but I doubt it, and anyway I don’t think it’s reasonable to invest much time into this before the UX/UI design sprint (Feature #14574, Feature #14573) about this topic happens.

Also, I’m a bit confused wrt. what this ticket is about:

  • none of its remaining subtasks seem related to “Remember installed packages”
  • there’s no way we can “Remember installed packages” without the GUI… that’s tracked elsewhere (Feature #14595, Feature #14594)

So I suggest we either kill this ticket entirely (and reparent its remaining subtasks to Feature #14568), or we make it track “B.4 Implement backend and GUI” and then at least Feature #14595 and Feature #14594 shall be subtasks of this one and the target version must be adjusted.
