Description

The plan of rebasing Tor Browser on the latest and greatest Firefox releases is paused. It will still happen for mobile Tor Browser out of necessity, but desktop will remain on ESR for the rest of 2020. So the Tor Browser 9.5 series will be based on ESR 78.

The Tor Browser devs’ plan is to release a 9.5 alpha in early July so we’ll have ~2 months on our side to adapt until the release in September.
