Description

We’ve discussed it in the interview with Roberto:

https://tails.boum.org/contribute/how/user_experience/interviews/roberto/

T: What else takes do you think could be simpler?

R: Choosing the network. I don't like it in Ubuntu either. You need 5 clicks to choose a Wi-Fi network. In macOS you get the list of networks straight away and you're done with 2 clicks instead of 5. The less clicks, the better.

It had also been mentioned to me by other folks, for example Eileen.

I don’t see why GNOME requires 5 clicks when macOS does the same with 2 clicks.

The next step is to check whether this has been reported to GNOME already.
