Description
The most time-consuming part of an interview is transcribing it. These days we might be able to find tool to do this automatically or at least help.
For security reasons, we can’t rely on online tools for that.
Software to investigate:
- wav2letter: https://github.com/facebookresearch/wav2letter
- Mozilla DeepSpeech: https://github.com/mozilla/DeepSpeech

Both Mozilla Deep Speech and Facebook wav2letter only have models for transcribing English. Most of the interviews I do are not in English so they are not useful.
Parlatype is a transcription assistant and works from Tails. It’s not perfect but definitely saves some time.
