Description

The default profile palette features colors that are hard to read on the white background.

Specifically, palette entry 12 (#FCE94F) and palette entry 16 (#EEEEEC) are almost illegible.

Hi @tobtoht!

Welcome to our bug tracker and thank you for taking the time to report bugs :)

We inherit this color palette of GNOME Terminal directly from GNOME. If the colors can be improved, I think that they should be improved for all users of GNOME Terminal and not only for Tails.

Can you check if similar problems have already been reported to GNOME Terminal and if not, report it there?

At Tails, we also want to focus in priority on the issues affecting users who are not tech-savvy enough to use the command line so improving this color scheme won’t be much of a priority for us anyway.
