Description

This is similar to the rejected (due to cypherpunks not having an account to merge a branch) Feature #14856, however it is significantly easier to implement. When a kernel panic occurs, the system simply locks up, keeping data in RAM. Instead of doing that, it should kexec into the RAM wiping kernel/initramfs and shut down. This should be simple to do, and could pave the way for implementing Feature #14856 in the future if time permits.
