On Buster, Screen Keyboard doesn’t have a french layout, which is a regression compared to tails 3.0.

It is solved in gnome-shell 3.32.0.

@alant, I think these two problems need to be fixed in Buster proper. The fact there are fixes available upstream should make this easier. Can you please identify what exact upstream commits are needed to fix this? Happy to deal with the Debian paperwork once we have a fixed package built from the Buster one (currently 3.30.2-3) + cherry-picked upstream commits.

I’m preparing a backport of the commit fixing this for Buster.

The region key is another issue, see ~~Bug #16633~~
