The release announcement are automatically sent to `amnesia-news@`
(thanks to the `announce` flag) on an hourly basis, but it will be
stuck in the moderation
queue. [Log in](https://www.autistici.org/mailman/admindb/amnesia-news) and
accept it.

Unless I missed an explanation, I have no idea what the `announce` flag is; it could also be helpful to mention that the mail might not show up immediately (or even after a few hours!) in the archives because those are lagging behind.

With the hurry of the release being over, I’ve looked around and I suppose the said “flag” is about the [[!tag announce]] in wiki/src/news/version_${VERSION?:}.mdwn, but the current wording could surprise another RM when noticing there are no mails to be found, either in moderation queue or in the archives, and wonder whether setting that flag could have been missed.
