Description

Right now we only document to remove bits related to boot profiling, but we could maybe include a list of files that are known to be removed? If my notes are correct that’d be:

  • /usr/local/lib/kill-boot-profile
  • /lib/live/mount/overlay/boot-profile.pid
  • boot-profile.pid

Sounds great! In fact, let’s replace the “Cleanup a bit” step with a copy-paste script that removes all known suspects. And in the next section (“Inspect the Git diff”) we could add a note to add any new suspects to the script to keep it up-to-date.

Right, that’s what “remove the bits about `kill-boot-profile` at the end” means, in its own, too terse way ⇒ we’re on the same page.
