Bug #16163
Clarify updated release process requirements for USB image
100%
Description
commit:e42cd0fa6b16cd6bbac2b1d99ceb2b496054bbc2 says “XXX: Adapt this section to also generate” (emphasis mine). I’m working on this as part of Bug #15999 and I’m not sure about “also”: do you mean we need to keep generating files with the old names, e.g. inc/stable_amd64_gpg_signature_output.html
? If yes, will you need those files forever or is there a plan to deprecate them?
Thanks in advance!

Also, what about the Torrent? Do we need one for the ISO and/or one for the USB image?

Scratch that, I see that in commit:096bbbfbe2a0494abca5b1910e486a17ec965cdc you indeed rely on 2 torrents.

Sorry for the confusion!
I don’t need to generate the old files once this branch is released.
I fixed the exhaustive list of files in b51606bae2.
And for the Torrents, yes, we’ll have 2 different torrents.

Great. So I had guessed correctly. I’ve automated the generation of the remaining files on your list, that were maintained manually by the RM so far (commit:99a2df7275d24a6b97ba5c6e87d363df5f482b24): while rather out of scope of this project, thanks to your suggestion I seized this opportunity to kill some of our technical debt :)
