Putting back search bar next to adress bar in TB 8 like default TB 8

Description

Hi,

in Tor Browser 8 there a dedicated search bar next to URL bar. In Tails there’s only the URL bar which acts as a search bar as well.

We received at least 2 bug raports about that.

Any reason for this difference?

I’ve just extracted and started a fresh tor-browser-linux64-8.0.2_en-US.tar.xz and I see no such search bar. Can you reproduce the reported behaviour? I suspect the search bar is only still displayed on Tor Browser 8.x upgraded from 7.x.

you’re right i just tried with a fresh one. Closing it now.
