(This issue is not about using snap/Flatpak for sandboxing per se, but rather about using Portals to allow user-controlled sandbox escapes, to fix the parent ticket. Whether the sandbox is implemented with AppArmor, as is currently the case, or with bubblewrap, or with whatever snap uses, is not the central question here.)
