They have 4 adapters that works with Linux and don’t have an antena. They are pretty cheap so I’ll try them all:

Model Size Price Technology
Ultra (PAU03) Nano $7 802.11n 150Mbps http://www.pandawireless.com/pandaUltra.htm
Mini Small $10 802.11n 150Mbps http://www.pandawireless.com/pandaMini.htm
300Mbp (PAU05) Small $14 802.11n 300Mbps http://www.pandawireless.com/panda300mbps.htm
N600 (PAU07) Long $25 Dual 300Mbps http://www.pandawireless.com/pandaN600.htm

The 3 models I got work flawlessly (driver: rt2800usb, firmware: rt2870.bin).

I couldn’t test the 5 GHz support of N600 (PAU07).

The Ultra (PAU03) cannot be shipped worldwide from Amazon and I asked Panda Wireless if that could be solved.

  • Target version changed from Tails_3.10.1 to Tails_3.11

I’ll try buying the Panda Nano once back home.

The Panda Ultra works as fine as the other ones.

We can now document a good dongle for people to get. Yay!

Special thanks to Cody who first found out about Panda Wireless!
