I think it would be a good thing to have the opportunity to install virtualbox in TAILS so that anyone can install in it their favorite OS.

Hi,

I’m not sure I see what usecase it would cover exactly. Moreover, with the additional software feature (https://tails.boum.org/doc/advanced_topics/additional_software/) you can it installed for every session. These softwares are very bg, and we try not to add (quite the opposite actually) every software that “could be useful” to some users. Because that’s definitely more work on our side.

I suspect this request was about adding VirtualBox guest software to run Tails in a VM. If that’s indeed the request, then we already do ship that software so please clarify what’s not working for you.
