Description

We disable the “Quick Introduction” window which by default would be shown at Synaptic’s first startup (see commit 2d1fbe0a6baad08525bc98a6bb957c29db8ae94a). I think that the introduction contains information that is helpful for users unexperienced with Synaptic.

On the other hand, having a dialog pop up everytime Synaptic is started in a new Tails session could be annoying.

Note that we’re considering removing Synaptic (Feature #15262).
I doubt the 3.9 target version is realistic but perhaps it’ll happen soonish.
