Description

a user reported this ACPI error :

ACPI Error: No handler or method for GPE xx

when trying to boot Tails 3.6.2 with this computer :

Sony VAIO Pro 13 Custom Touch Ultrabook

the message is displayed infinitely after the boot menu, with different GPE numbers.

the error was not present before, and it does not happens with Debian-live 9.4.0

note that there are issues (that are also affecting this user) booting form an USB stick on this computer (it returns “no operating system found” one time of two)
