Description

Right click on a file in nautilus, then ‘Share via onionshare’. Once onionshare opens, close it without sharing. The system monitor is showing the existence of a defunct onionshare-gu process that doesn’t uses memory nor processor.

Let’s see if we can test this with the newer version of Onionshare (1.3), too.

What’s the user-visible consequence? E.g. does it prevent using OnionShare later in the same session?

there are no consequences for the user, it is still possible to share a file with onionshare, there is only one onionshare-gui process in the system-monitor so I guess it is not really ‘defunct’.
