Bug #15025
Document that Tails installed using dd is not seen as a bootable device on some MacBook Pro
0%
Description
See Bug #12146 and more recently Bug #15021: we’ve known for about a year about this, but apparently our install doc still recommends a path we know won’t work on some Macs. I didn’t check if our troubleshooting doc did take this problem into account.

So basically on https://tails.boum.org/install/mac/usb/index.en.html we miss a section about “Tails not starting at all”, like we have on the Windows version.

I like it. I pass it to mercedes508 though as resident macOS frontdesk expert.
(note: you can review it from the page install/mac/usb.en.html )

I don’t think it’s worth blocking on documenting DVD now that USB images are about to arrive.
So I’m marking this as resolved.
