Bug #13402
Tails installer is not in Stretch-backports as said in the install documentation
0%
Description
Hi,
People reported [1] that the installation documentation for Tails with a Debian Strech [2] points to Strech-backports.
However, the tails-installer package is only present in the Jessie-Backports repository at the moment [3].

Great! Now, we can’t upload to stretch-backports until the package is in testing. See the course of action I’ve proposed on the RC bug that blocks migration to testing.

I’ve prepared the new version for Unstable, closed the RC bug which prevented to migrate to testing. And I will then be able to prepare and upload the new version to stretch-backports. In the meantime, will upload it to Ubuntu too.

Upload to Debian unstable & Ubuntu: done.
Upload to stretch-backports will be possible only once the package has migrated to testing. This should happen in 4 days from now, so we’ll need to wait until this weekend.

Well, IMO this ticket should be left open until the problem it’s about is resolved, but whatever.

The package arrived in the repository earlier today.
