This page seems slightly outdated as Tails 3.0 will require a 64bit processor: https://tails.boum.org/doc/about/requirements/index.en.html We should update it.

On feature/stretch it’s been updated, and since 2.11 we display a notification to users of 32-bit computers so they’re warned in advance. Is there anything else we should do?

Would it address this problem if we add a link to the “Tails 3.0 will require a 64-bit processor” blog post, from doc/about/requirements?

And while we’re at it, we could add “However, there are [[known hardware compatibility issues|support/known_issues]].” on that page, to solve another problem you’ve mentioned elsewhere.

yes.

I think my problem was basically that as a user I would find it very hard to find out what kind of computer to user or to buy, especially if I’m a newbie to a self installed OS.
