Description

The amount of memory needed for ram build has been bumped in the feature/stretch branch, which lead to build failure in our Jenkins setup when using vagrant, as the isobuilders don’t have enough configured memory to cope.

When we’ll release Tails based on Stretch and switch all our isobuilders to the vagrant build, we’ll certainly need to add more memory to Lizard if we want to keep the same amount of iso{builders, testers}.

IMO this ticket is jumping to conclusions too fast: it’s not obvious to me that this is the best solution to the problem we’re facing.

So, next step is Feature #12002 (i.e. define what we need), and then update the blueprint for Bug #11680 (i.e. find a solution that works for this problem and a few others). And then I’m not sure if this ticket is needed at all.

Feature #12002 already tracks the initial research and Bug #11680 already tracks the potential solution(s), so I don’t think we need another ticket about this.
