Description

It would be nice to have testing feedback before the next spring. I wrote a draft in https://tails.boum.org/blueprint/greeter_revamp_UI/test_greeter_1.0.0-alpha/, that should be reviewed and published.

hi sajolida! I’d like to polish and publish this call for testing. I see it as a way to 1. gather feedback before we include the new Greeter in Tails 3.0~beta1 (scheduled for Dec ~23), and 2. show that we’re doing good job + call for donations. But I want to coordinate with other blog posts (2.9 release, fundraising drive, November report). So, when would be a good time for me to publish this blog post?

Thanks for taking this into account. The calendar I envisioned so far was like this:

  - <2016-11-26 Sat> roadmap
  - <2016-12-09 Fri> monthly report
  - <2016-12-13 Tue> release 2.9
  - <2016-12-19 Mon> mediapart
  - <2016-12-27 Tue> thank you + 33C3

I still plan on doing two posts for December and would like to both spread them as much as possible and have them as visible as possible on /home. The mediapart post is ready (it needs translation but I’ll call for that tomorrow probably).

So actually, if you want to publish it very soon (on Sunday or Monday) then it could be on top for one week and I wouldn’t have to change my calendar :)
