Description

According to https://mailman.boum.org/pipermail/tails-support/2016-October/000747.html, the automatic upgrade from 2.5 to 2.6 did not break 32-bit UEFI support, but a pristine installation of 2.6 with Universal USB Installer created a broken 32-bit UEFI setup.

Fresh Tails 2.5 and 2.6 USB sticks created with Tails Installer boot fine, as far as UEFI & boot loaders are concerned, on a Toshiba Encore2 tablet that has a 32-bit UEFI firmware. Then I set up persistence on the 2.5 stick and it boots as well.

So to me, it looks like 32-bit UEFI works as it used to.

(Off-topic: on 2.6 I see no plymouth splash screen, only a black screen, and the greeter never appears. “Failsafe” mode displays some kernel log lines that stop at ttyS0 set up.)
