Description

To support buliding with Vagrant on Debian Jessie, we need this fixed: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=823395 (tracking that on Bug #11396)

The short-term solution is to distribute a patched package ourselves and document how to get it. Perhaps we can just overload the builder-jessie APT suite, so it’s to be used both on Jessie hosts, and the (Jessie) builder VM?

Package uploaded to builder-jessie. Is this good enough as a short-term fix?

Yes, good enough. I’ve assumed you have tested this on Jessie (I have not).

DrWhax tested the package, but the exact instructions haven’t been tested, but they are revived instructions that were tested on Jessie before, and I just replaced the APT suite, so I’m confident they will work.
