I’ve “repaired” the hook enough to fix the ISO build, but I’ve not checked if the modules are built and usable.

They are built (only for the 32-bit kernel, as expected):

Works fine with the 32-bit kernel, a 32-bit VM, 57MB of video memory.

I tried tails-amd64-feature_stretch-3.0-20161116T1118Z-dd5e88d.iso with VirtualBox on Windows with a 64-bit VM and the shared clipboard and the resizable display work (I didn’t test the shared folders). I updated the doc accordingly in 55860d6.
